Usually upon starting a new workout/eat right routine, I take my measurements, but this time I forgot. My friend Jen mentioned it on her blog, so I decided to add mine.
I think it's a great idea because when you are trying to lose weight, you (meaning me) get obsessed about the number on the scale. But that's not the only indicator that you are on the right track. Ever heard that muscle weighs more than fat? Well it's true and sometimes as your body is adjusting, becoming more toned you may not see results on the scale but you notice your clothes fit differently. And you can measure by seeing inches come off your waist, hips, and thighs.
So here are my measurements as of 1-21-08:
waist: 45
hips: 50
rt thigh: 29.5
rt arm: 16
upper torso: 38
